On Air:

Creating a promotional video for a local radio station.

I worked in this production as a camera/sound operator and edited the final product to a standard i am happy with. I feel I handled these roles well and used the skills i had developed over my time at university to create a successful end product. I enjoyed working on this product as i felt i improved my production skills and created products that both myself and the client were happy with. I hope to gain more experience in the future working with companies to create promotional content as i enjoyed and felt confident doing this during this placement.

As part of my university course i had to complete an outside work placement over the course of the year. For my placement I worked with a community radio station in Coventry in order to create promotional content for them to use.

Within this experience I had to organise a team to plan, film and edit a promotional video, poster and photos to a professional standard. This experience improved my communication, leadership and organisational skills as I had to ensure the products were created to a standard that both the client and the team were happy with. This was an opportunity to create a product for an external source that would then use my work in their promotional campaign so was very exciting for me to partake in.
